Monday was the big day...first day of school! Both girls were so excited to get the year started, and Laura's first question as she woke up was, "Is it my school morning?"
Leah's day starts the earliest, and I was so glad to walk her into school. It won't be too long before it's not "cool" for Mom to escort her to her class.
Sitting at her desk, and getting right to work.
As I was passing in the hallway, Leah caught me taking one last glimpse.
Then it was Laura's turn, as I arrived at my parents' house, I should have known that she would have been playing on the computer. I have two complete computer nerds on my hands, I'm not going to complain too much, it worked out well for their Daddy.

Later that afternoon, Laura had her first dance class of the year. We waited outside at my parents' for Leah's bus to arrive.

Love the reunited shot! You're right. One day they won't think it's so cool to be walked to class. Can you imagine how they're going to feel about us blogging about them?
