Thanks to my friend Christin, I had enough seats to take both the girls for a ride at the same time. Laura got to take a back seat with me on Rider in the "buddy seat", and then I ponied Leah on Dixie. It was just what I thought it might be like to have a ride with your daughters. I could imagine us on a long trail ride after this successful experiment. I wasn't sure if the girls would feel comfortable, and if Rider would like the contraption behind the saddle. All went wonderfully, and we all had a great time. Please excuse my riding attire, it was too hot for jeans, but I should have gotten a little more camera ready.
This is a close-up of the above picture, do you think they were having fun? They loved trotting on the horses, and just giggled with delight eveytime. Thank goodness I have a couple of very patient horses that these girls get to enjoy.
