Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

After a quick dip in the pool and brief rest in the room, we all got dressed up to go back to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Laura was Tiana from the Princess & the Frog.
Leah was a white kitty, some at the park thought she was Marie from the Aristocrats.
The sign welcoming us back, complete with the giant pumpkin mickeys.

Me & my girls.
Joe was a fantastic Captain Jack Sparrow. He had kids pointing at him all night long, one little girl was even afraid of him. I think he could have been signing autographs if he wanted to.

Taking a spin on Dumbo.

The best part of the night, CANDY! Everyone was on the hunt for the Goofy lights that signaled a candy stop.

Joe at his ride for the night.
The Headless Horseman marked the beginning of the parade. He was a majestic site to see.

And here comes the Boo To You Parade...

This goes by really fast, but the synchronized gravediggers were a favorite with the girls. They loved the sparks coming off of their shovels as they scraped the pavement.

The ghosts from the Haunted Mansion ventured out to join the parade.
Captain Jack, the girls loved that he gave us a special bow, and thought it was completely because their Dad was decked out just like him.

Their were several dance parties scattered around the park where the characters came out in the crowd to party with everyone. Laura was hilarious, she loved dancing, but as soon as a character would show up, she would say "I'm too embarrassed to dance in front of them."

She wouldn't even get close to them for pictures, but Leah did. Here she is with Jessee from Toy Story.
One of Laura's escapes from the dancing characters, she danced all the way back to meet up with Joe & Leah. I thought it was so cute, she even sat down on the bench and worked it in to her dance, like a Broadway show.

The castle was constantly changing colors and just glowed in the night.
Laura enjoying every second of the party and waiting for the fireworks to start.

A few videos from the show, each one was narrated by a different villain.

Laura loves seeing the fireworks, but still doesn't enjoy the noise.

A great night was had by all, and they already are planning a return trip. Coming up next, our day Epcot.
