Raleigh Visit-Day One

We spent the first day of our Raleigh vacation at one of Rachel's friends' local neighborhood pool. Luckily Rachel could fit all of us in the van, so she basically chauffeured us around most of the visit. Joe had to go to his work meetings the first couple days of the visit, so it was just the girls.
The highlight of the pool, at least for Ava & Leah, was this slide. They would come down, swim to the ladder, climb out and run right back for more.
Superstars!

Laura loves her Aunt Rachel! We took turns playing with Laura, as she had zero interest in going down the slide.
After a few hours at the pool, Ava came back to the room with us and they all enjoyed chilling on the sofa bed watching Sponge Bob.
For dinner we went to the Cheesecake Factory. My girls exclaimed emphatically that they did not like cheesecake, and that they didn't want any. Of course as soon as we walked in and they saw the display case of the varieties of cheesecakes that they offer, their opinions were quickly swayed. They went from not liking cheesecake to picking out their favorite even before we had sat down at the table.
A picture of all the ladies at the hotel.
Sweet cousins
Any day ended with a giant slice of Chocolate layered cheesecake is a good one in my book.
