Early Easter from Mom-Mom & Pop-Pop

The girls got a special early Easter basket from their Mom-Mom & Pop-Pop. Good thing they got permission to open them early because there was no way they could wait once they got a glimpse of the box.
Leah was the sweetest big sister and took the time to teach Laura how to use her jump-rope. You could hear in her words what her PE teacher must have said to her at school. It's moments like that when I'm glad to be a stay-at-home Mom.
Of course like most kids, the box was the most entertaining thing of all.

Leah decided to decorate the paper that was filler in the box, and was telling a story of an undersea world with it.
Laura at work inside the box. I think she was talking about drawing a radio.

It was all fun and games until the cat caught sight of everything. The girls had lost interest and made there way down to their couches to watch some cartoons, and Sparkle Lilly saw an opening. I thought she was just exploring like any cat would, but unfortunately all the brown paper on the ground got her a little confused, and well, you can probably guess what happened next. Let's just say, that was the end of the box and papers!

Ha ha ha!! Kennedy has been trying to learn to jump rope also. Too bad she just has me to try to teach her. Sounds like Leah is GREAT teacher!
