Christmas Day

Leah came tip toeing in our room about 6:30 in the morning on Christmas Day and was so excited to see what Santa brought. However, Laura was recovering from a bad stomach bug, so we convinced Leah to not wake her sister up, and that as soon as Laura woke up, we would check out the loot. Being a sweet girl on Christmas morning, she agreed. So she lay with us in our bed, trying to be quiet, but tapping her foot with excitement, just hoping Laura would wake up. Finally she did, and Leah bounced into her room reminding her what day it was.

The first stop for Laura was checking out the milk and cookies we left for Santa, he ate them all!
Santa brought all of us season passes to Disney, what a man!
Leah opening something she obviously approved of.
Mommy & Laura catching a quiet moment amongst all of the flying paper and ribbons.
Leah in her rock star outfit that her Aunt Janet sent.
Uncle Earl joined us for Christmas Breakfast.
Dad came over too, he and Leah discussing what they got on Christmas.
We had a wonderful morning, and the girls just make Christmas the special day that it is. I don't know what we would do without them. I am constantly reminding myself to thoroughly enjoy these precious years, because I know how quickly time passes.
