Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

After a little afternoon downtime, we changed clothes and got ready to party all night at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom.  We are so fortunate to have our cousin Vicki, she is so talented and made a couple outfits for our trip, including these "Joy" shirts.

This was our second after hours party we've attended at the Magic Kingdom, the first being the Not So Scarey Halloween Party the previous year.  The parties are an extra charge, but in our experience the crowds are so much lighter you can ride most rides you would ever want to.

Arriving on Main Street to the sound of Christmas Carols in the air, and snow drifting down from above.

 Catching a flake or two.
First things first, we headed straight to the meet and greet for the girls' absolute favorite chartoon characters, Phineas & Ferb.
They were not disappointed, and came bouncing away from their celebrity encounter.

 All smiles!

The castle just glowed as the nighttime spectacular began, changing colors and even being the canvas for many different projected styles.

All the gang participated in the musical stage performance.

As is tradition, Laura always watches fireworks with her fingers in her ears.

 Another great Disney experience!
