One perk about being a first grader is getting to take part in the Annual Christmas Music Show at school. The music teacher does an excellent job with the children and tries to give as many children as possible special parts in the show. Laura was chosen to dance with her partner Morgan.

She was so excited about her heels, although after one performance she understood they often look prettier than they feel.
The whole family enjoyed seeing Laura perform with her grade. They actually put on three shows in one day.
After a day of excitement, Laura put on her fancy dress and had my Mom curl her hair and she was ready to shine at the night show.
