Where else would we start the morning off in New Orleans, but at Cafe Du Monde? The girls were really looking forward to trying the beignets.
Leah couldn't stop raving about their hot chocolate, which Joe had previously noticed was just a regular grocery store brand, but I thought it was extra delicious too.
Laura was very happy to have a plate heaping with powdered sugar, and found that if you added some to your hot chocolate it made it even better.
After our yummy breakfast we strolled through the French Market, and bought some fruit to make up for our doughy-sugar filled morning.
We made a trip through Sally's Praline's shop and bought some more sweet treats for later.
