Our 4th of July...

We had days and days of rain leading up to the 4th of July, and we still have the oil issue that keeps us from enjoying our beautiful beaches, so instead of our regular festivities, I decided to get us tickets to the new show in town, Le Grand Cirque.
We had a terrific time, and just as show got started the sky let go and we could hear it pouring outside the tent. I guess we made a good call taking in an indoor activity.
After the show we went to one of our local restaurant. The girls just days before their much needed haircut..."Leah, are you in there?"
Laura checking out the albino alligator.

Joe snapped a picture of Crab Island as we headed across the bridge.
We went home for some time to relax, and then joined the crowds at the park to see some fireworks. This is still how Laura likes to see the fireworks, notice Joe's hands on her ears.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

All the girls on our walk back to the car.
What a great day we had celebrating America's Independence!
