Mostly Play and a little work with Joe's parents

The weather cooperated and we got another beach day in. There were red and purple flags, which mean dangerous water and jellyfish. So we spent most of the time on the sand, and at the water's edge. There was such a nice breeze, and we all enjoyed the time at the beach.

We managed to get a bunch of cute pictures of the girls, I couldn't narrow it down so here's the best of them. How many 3 year olds accessorize for a trip to the beach?
Sisters.

We had a full day. After the beach we headed over to Mellow Mushroom, and then to a local shopping center for ice cream.
It can't be all play and no work, right? Joe's dad gladly helped us install a new faucet. We had grown tired of the drip, drip, drip of our old faucet.

And his parents bought us some beautiful flowers for our front porch. It looks so pretty now, and I just hope I can keep them alive. Laura enjoyed helping Bobi water the new flowers.
Laura takes after her mother, and she enjoys having fresh flowers in her room. She is a little more creative than me however, she came back from her room with a few of her flowers in her hands, and asked that I put them in her hair. I have to admit they did look pretty, and this is also why we don't buy her the expensive flowers.

I love the beach shots and how sweet of Joe's parents to add flowers to your porch.
