I got a call last week from my good friend Katie, and she was in our hometown visiting her parents. This was a wonderful surprise and we made plans to get together sometime during her visit. Joe was so nice to cook dinner and get the girls ready for bed while we went out to dinner and catch up.
Since Katie lives all the way across the country in Colorado, we rarely get to visit. The girls felt comfortable with her right away, and Laura was giving her big hugs as she was going to bed.
