Laura's first AR book

Laura was so ready to be a big kindergartner and part of that excitement was getting to check books out from the library. The school has a program called Accelerated Reader where children are tested to see what level they are reading at, and then they check out books and test on them when they have read them. Laura chose her very first AR book last week and we all enjoyed hearing her read it. Leah was such a good big sister, helping her with the difficult words.

I love how she's already reading with emotion, "yelling" when Olivia was mad and speaking with such a wimpery voice when Olivia was sad.
