Last week at VBS

We wound up our week at Vacation Bible School, or I should say we just returned from "Cosmic City". The theme for this year revolved around space, and they managed to intertwine that with Bible lessons. I had been talking it up since school got out, and the girls were excited to go. They kept that enthusiasm all week.
Eating breakfast on the first day.

Bouncing was number one on both of their favorites' lists.
Playing a game in one of the classes.
Two boys in my group, don't they look so sweet?
Look at my little angels, Leah did the "G" and Laura did the "D". I thought it was funny, they both just drew a letter, and it turned out to be a pretty good word for a Bible School, don't ya think?
Jen, my group partner, leading the kids to the Gym for the morning session.

Coming home Tuesday, after a full morning at VBS, followed by swimming at the grandparents. Laura really was asleep, and Leah was faking it. Although, by the time we got home, she was asleep too.

Laura was proud of her "tattoos".
Acting out a biblical lesson about Jesus. Leah was playing the part of Mary.

Here Leah is "telling" the people that Jesus was not there anymore.
Laura putting the muslin on the little boy playing the part of Jesus.
Every morning this astronaut started out the day by giving us our "mission".
Comparing medals.

This wonderful helper was lifting every kid one by one up the top of the bounce house. He said he was going to be a pro golfer when he grows up, I hope we didn't wear him out too much.

Leah and Tyler playing in the courtyard.

Double Trouble!

Double Trouble #2!

At the end of the week, the girls raised the most money so Pastor Larry got slimed.

The kids dancing to the music.

Daddy surprised on the last day and helped walk the kids back to the classroom.
