Friday after Thanksgiving seemed like the perfect day to put up our Christmas tree. In the last few years we have switched over to the artificial tree, and while I struggled with that change, I have to admit that it's nice to be able to put it up whenever we want and not worry about a dying tree and no watering either. It was a dark, dreary day outside so we turned on the Christmas music and went to work.
Some of our family ornaments, if it's Star Wars, it's Joe's.
I have a couple of my sister's ornaments from when we were children. Every year I place them on the tree I remember her and the girls usually ask questions or say that they wish they knew her.
An angel that was made for me by my 5th grade teacher, thanks Mrs. Pope.
Laura meeting Santa in her Pre-K class last year.
Proud of my Air Force Man.
An ornament made for us by my cousin's oldest daughter Anna.
A beautiful start for the Holidays!
