October Disney Trip- Day 3 Movie Studios

The Disney Movie Studios were on the schedule for Day 3. It was another beautiful October day and we set off to get the most out of it. First things first, Joe took a quick jog to Toy Story to get our fast passes, they go quickly for this popular ride.
The girls enjoyed running around the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. The first time we took them there, we were completely panicked. There is no way to keep up with them, and every entrance has at least 3 exits, so you never know where your child will come out. After many times there, we have finally figured out to just hang at the entrance/exit and keep an eye out for them. They can't escape so we will eventually catch up with them.
Laura spotted the face painter right away, and I really couldn't come up with a good reason to tell her no, so she picked out favorite design and sat down very still while the artist went to work. She loved every second of it, and was so patient.
She picked out an angel design and she was so proud wearing it for the rest of the day.
We had some extra time between shows, so we took in the Back lot tour, something the girls had never done. And they weren't too sure about it, as you can tell from their faces.
Joe convincing Leah that it's not a scary show.
They had the hen house that Hannah Montana painted in one of her movies. Laura recognized it right away.

Weaving through the warehouse on the way to the tram we saw many props from movies we had seen.
From Star Wars.

They had a game where you could find out what princess you would be. Both of the girls got beautiful classics like Ariel & Cinderella.
One of the questions asked you whether you would rather have lunch with nice people, or have nice people for lunch. I picked the later for laughs and to see who I would be, here's my winner...
The Pixar Parade was a big hit.
As well as The Beauty & the Beast, one of our favorites.

An afternoon treat, cotton candy.

Another first, the American Idol show. We usually pass right by it, but we had extra time again, and we were glad we did, it was a fun experience.
Voting for our favorites.
Luckily we got Leah out of the Star Wars jail in time to leave the park.
Another great Disney day.

Next up, our last day at Disney spent at Animal Kingdom.
